Doing Our Part for the Environment
Capitol Coffee recycles over 90,000 lbs of cardboard per year. It’s part of our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint. Our industrial baler crushes and bales all of our cardboard, then it’s off to the mill to be recycled and repurposed. We are also working towards a greener fleet, by purchasing vehicles that are certified to a nitrogen oxide (NOx) idling emission standard of 30 grams per hour which makes it compliant with “Certified Clean Idle” standards. Energy saving, motion activated LED’s light the way in our warehouse. Additionally we fully support and promote; food, coffee grounds and composting programs.
