Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, facility closures and remote staffing, Capitol Coffee has developed a new community outreach program. Our customers can divert a portion of their average weekly spend on snacks and drinks to local charities. Capitol Coffee will deliver the items on your behalf from our warehouses to the local food bank, backpack buddies, school or charity of their choice in Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill, Wilmington, Charlotte and Charleston, SC. Additionally we will apply a good faith discount to every order. The response from our customers and the Food Bank has been incredible thus far and we look forward to keeping this program active as long as possible
Here is short list of most requested charities. Many of our customers have committed to 35%-100% of their weekly spend to the food banks and interfaith shuttle. Interfaith food shuttle is the custodian for “backpack buddies” and transport the donations to local schools. Thanks again to all participants
